FROM IDEA TO REALITY: THE EVOLUTION OF FIRETOWER ROAD RESCUE CENTER

Bringing an idea to Reality is not easy. To do so you must have patience,also passion. A couple years ago I notice people in my community have cats,dogs,ect... as pets. Some people keep them inside there homes as pets then later set them free outside not letting them back in houses. Then the animals be roaming the community. I was tired of seeing the poor animals get hit and kill by vehicles on the highway. That is the reason I started Katina's Animal Rescue.

What Do You Do For A Living? Owner of Katina's Animal Rescue.How would you describe what you do? I Rescue abandoned and stray animals feed them every day and give them whatever medical treatment they need. What kind of work do you do? I'm responsible for planning the budget, purchasing supplies, schedule animals veterinary care appointments.How did you get started? I actually started taking in abandoned animals,then it grew to the point where I decided to open up a Rescue Center.What do you like about what you do? Just watching the animals they are happy, playful and so friendly. That let me know I have made a difference in there lives.What do you dislike? People mistreating animals.

I did a fundraiser 12/2022 for to have rescued cats spayed and neuter in my community. It were a success! All the cats found Loving and Happy Homes! Thank You !
